Why? Apart of finishing and decorating, coating exists to enhance protection of the material. Material wearing and tearing is caused by usage and natural weathering. Maximizing product life makes business sense but imagine if coating also enhances the materials’ properties and performance such as anti-static trait, thermal conductivity, scratch resistance, hydrophobic and hydrophilic characteristics.
